Los Angeles Celebrates The Kings In Downtown Victory Parade
LOS ANGELES (CBS) — Fans lined the streets of downtown Los Angeles for the Kings' Stanley Cup victory parade Thursday afternoon.
AEG helped throw the parade, which started at the corner of Figueroa and West 5th streets. Players and their families, coaches, and the team's mascot rode on double-decker buses, showcasing the Stanley Cup along the one-mile parade route.
The parade culminated at Staples Center for rally featuring video highlights from the season and speeches from the players.
Many of the tickets to the rally went to 2012 and 2013 season ticket holders. The remaining ones were only available online Tuesday night.
