Female Suspect Dead In Pomona Officer-Involved Shooting
POMONA (CBSLA.com) — A female suspect was killed Saturday evening in an officer-involved shooting in Pomona.
The shooting occurred outside the Deluxe Motel on Holt Avenue about 9:45 p.m. Saturday.
Investigators say members of a gang task force were driving through the neighborhood when they were allegedly confronted by the woman who they say was armed with a gun.
It's still not clear what led to the shooting. The woman died at the scene.
No officers were injured.
Los Angeles Sheriff's deputies are assisting Pomona police in their investigation.
