Female Driver Stabbed In Hand By Male Pedestrian In Pasadena
SOUTH PASADENA (CBS) — Officials say a female driver was stabbed in the hand Monday after getting into a confrontration with a male pedestrian.
The man who stabbed the woman remained at large and police sought help
from the public in finding him.
The stabbing was reported at 8:19 p.m. at Monterey Road and Oak Hill Avenue, South Pasadena police Sgt. Tony Abdalla said.
The victim, a South Pasadena resident, was stabbed after "a traffic dispute" with the suspect, Abdalla said.
"Possibly he was crossing the street and she didn't see him initially," Abdalla told reporters. "There is no indication he was hit by the car. The traffic dispute is part of what we're investigating."
The woman who was stabbed was hospitalized with injuries that were not
considered life-threatening, Abdalla said.
The man who stabbed her was described as in his early 20s, about 5 feet
10 inches tall and 150 pounds, and wearing a tan jacket and shorts, Abdalla
said.
The car he was seen leaving in was described as an early 2000s Toyota Corolla, dark blue, and driven by a female.
