Feds Bust 2 Pot-Growing Operations In Moreno Valley
MORENO VALLEY (CBS) — Federal agents said they raided two warehouses Wednesday that housed indoor marijuana-growing operations and seized a number of plants and equipment.
A U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration task force, with help from local law enforcement, reportedly served search warrants at two locations at around 11 a.m. on Old Highway 215 in Moreno Valley.
Jose Martinez, an agent with the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration, said a woman allegedly connected to the operation was arrested at a nearby location by agents and other suspects are still being sought.
"We seized guns, money and marijuana at her residence," the agent told City News Service.
It was not immediately clear how the DEA became aware of the illegal activity
