Fatal West Covina House Fire Being Investigated As Arson
WEST COVINA (CBSLA.com) — A fatal house fire was under investigation Friday in West Covina, Los Angeles sheriff's officials said.
The fire broke out just after 11 a.m. in the 900 block of Holiday Drive, officials said.
It took 32 firefighters 30 minutes to extinguish the blaze, officials said.
Once the fire was out, firefighters discovered the body of a man, Deputy Kim Manatt said. The identity of the victim was not released.
The fire is under investigation by the sheriff's arson and homicide unit and West Covina police.
