Fatal Shooting Of Young Man Under Investigation In Baldwin Park
BALDWIN PARK (CBSLA.com) — The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department was assisting local police early Friday in the shooting death of a young man.
The shooting was reported around 1:15 a.m. at the intersection of Los Angeles Street and Merced Avenue in Baldwin Park, according to the LASD.
"Police officers rolled to the location. They found a male Hispanic, about 20 years old, who had been wounded by gunfire," Lt. Mike Rosson, of the LASD said.
The victim, who was a resident of Baldwin Park, was pronounced dead at the scene.
There were no witnesses to the shooting, which police believe was gang-related.
No arrests have been made.
