Family Of Toddler Killed In OC Hit-And-Run Pleads For Driver To Surrender
ANAHEIM (CBS) — The family of a toddler killed in a hit-and-run in Anaheim last week on Friday urged the driver responsible for her death to surrender to police.
KNX 1070's Mike Landa reports the both the grandmother and sister of 3-year-old Miranda Palacios made a heartfelt plea for whoever is responsible to do the right thing.

Lady Audree Rebecca Hernandez, 26, was pushing her toddler, Miranda Palacios, in a stroller across Gilbert Street when they were struck about 6 p.m. Feb. 6 by a 1995 beige Nissan Maxima at Guinida Lane in unincorporated Anaheim.
At a news conference held at the scene of the hit-and-run, the victims' mother and grandmother, Kimberlee Kirby, read a statement from her daughter.
"I am left broken physically, mentally and, more importantly, emotionally," the statement read. "I wake every morning praying this was just last night's nightmare only to find that it's all too true."
Miranda's older sister, Mahalah Hernandez, also made a plea for the driver to come forward.
"I want whoever did this to my little sister to please come in or something," she said. "Somebody tell us what happened."
The Orange County Crimestoppers organization offered a $1,000 reward for the arrest and conviction of the hit-and-run driver. That reward was upped to $4,000 on Wednesday when Orange County Supervisor Shawn Nelson, state Sen. Lou Correa (D-Santa Ana), and Anaheim Mayor Tom Tait each pledged $1,000 of their own money.
