SANTA MONICA (CBSLA.com) — UBER is expanding into meal delivery.
From Tuesday through Friday, Sept. 5, the ride-sharing service will be testing out uberFRESH in Santa Monica, the company said.
The experimental service will offer daily lunch options between 11:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. and a driver will deliver it in under 10 minutes.
The daily menu features special items from Tender Greens, 41 Ocean and Bay Cities for just $12.
Every meal will include a complimentary cookie from the new Westside shop, Cookie Good.
uberFRESH is not offered on weekends or Labor Day.
