Estranged Husband Arrested On Suspicion Of Killing Irvine Woman
IRVINE (CBS) — Police say the estranged husband of an Irvine woman, who was gunned down Thursday, has been taken into custody on suspicion of murder.
The woman, identified as Alejandra Hernandez of Orange, was shot and killed just after 2 p.m. in the Turtle Rock neighborhood near the daycare center where she worked.
A short time later, police arrested 35-year-old John Rand Agosta. Investigators have not said what prompted the shooting, but did say the couple was estranged.
An elementary school is next to the private daycare center where the shooting happened. No students were at school at the time.
