Endeavour Meets Discovery In Advance Of Its Move To LA
LOS ANGELES (CBS) — NASA's retired shuttles are trading spaces. In a rare nose-to-nose encounter, Discovery and Endeavour met Thursday at Kennedy Space Center.
The shuttles switched places so NASA can continue preparing them for departure to their future homes.
Discovery will go to the Smithsonian Institution in Virginia, while the Endeavour will be here in Los Angeles at the California Science Center.
