Elderly Woman Found Dead Inside Hemet Home
HEMET (CBSLA.com) — A homicide investigation was underway in Hemet Wednesday after a man allegedly told officers he killed his 77-year-old mother.
The Hemet Police Department said in a department statement that a 51-year-old man entered the department about 1:26 p.m. Tuesday, and allegedly told officers he had killed his mother.
Officers subsequently conducted a welfare check at the family home in the 500 block of W. Devonshire Avenue, and say they found a deceased woman.
The circumstances surrounding the woman's death have not been released nor has the identity of those involved.
