Elderly Man Dies After Watts House Fire
LOS ANGELES (CBS) — An elderly man died after a house fire Monday morning in a house fire in Watts, a city fire spokesperson said.
Firefighters put out the fire at 843 E. 91st St., which was reported at 7:59 a.m., in 14 minutes.
The man was taken to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead, Los Angeles city fire spokesperson Erik Scott said.
The victim's name was not released.
The cause of the fire was not immediately known.
