Elderly Man Killed In San Bernardino House Fire
SAN BERNARDINO (CBSLA.com) — An elderly man was killed early Monday in a house fire in San Bernardino.
The fire was reported at 3:40 a.m. in the 1000 block of West 15th Street, the San Bernardino Fire Department said.
The fire was located in the rear of the residence where firefighters discovered an unidentified elderly man dead in his bedroom.
Neighbors told authorities the man was not very mobile and was likely not able to exit the home.
The fire was extinguished at 4:15 a.m., officials said.
The cause of the fire was under investigation.
