Ed Oregeron Still In Running For USC Head Coaching Job
LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Coming off USC's big win over No. 5 Stanford last weekend, Trojans Athletic Director Pat Haden says Ed Orgeron is on his radar to become the permanent head coach, according to ESPN.
While Orgeron waits for a decision, he's still enjoying the outpouring of support he's received from the Trojan community.
"Everything has been great," Orgeron said at practice on Wednesday. "Our focus is on beating Colorado. But I think that after the game [against Stanford], just to see the fans excited and happy was very, very rewarding to me, and our team."
Orgeron is also one of the 16 semifinalists for the Maxwell football club collegiate coach of the year.
