The historical marketplace in downtown Los Angeles will be celebrating Mardi Gras by inviting children to come down for mask decorating, live entertainment and dancing. Kids will have the chance to break a piñata and vote for a little King and Queen, who will then join in a parade down the famous Olvera Street. Call ahead to register for mask-decorating workshop.
