Man Fatally Shot While Driving Through East LA Alley
LOS ANGELES (CBSLA) — A man in his 30s was found shot to death behind the wheel of his car in an East LA alley early Monday.
Several shots were reported in the 500 block of South Atlantic Boulevard after 12:30 a.m. When Los Angeles County sheriff's deputies arrived, they found a man slumped over the wheel of his car in an alley separating apartments from businesses.
It's not clear if there is more than one shooter, but investigators say they man was driving through the alley when shots were fired into it.
No weapon was found at the scene.
Detectives remain at the scene and are checking nearby businesses for security video.
