3.6-Magnitude Quake Rattles Loma Linda
SAN BERNARDINO (CBSLA.com) — A magnitude-3.6 earthquake struck about seven miles north of Moreno Valley Tuesday afternoon, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
The temblor, which struck at 12:18 p.m., was centered three miles southeast of Loma Linda in San Bernardino County, according to the USGS.
The USGS Tuesday initially reported that a magnitude-3.1 quake rattled the Tustin area at 12:19 p.m., but later said that there had not been a quake in Orange County.
No damage was reported in the Loma Linda quake.
No additional details were immediately available.
