Man Fatally Struck By Vehicle On Northbound 110 Freeway In DTLA

DOWNTOWN LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — A man was fatally struck by a vehicle on the northbound 110 Freeway in downtown Los Angeles, police said Wednesday.

According to California Highway Patrol officers, the incident took place around 3:30 a.m. just south of the 10 Freeway.

CHP officers said the victim, who is believed to be between the ages of 30 and 35-years-old, may have been struck by multiple vehicles on the freeway. His identity is being withheld pending family notification.

The death investigation shut down all northbound lanes of the freeway until around 6 a.m., officials said.

CHP officers do not believe the incident was a hit-and-run crash.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
