Pasadena Streets Close Sunday For CicLAvia
PASADENA (CBSLA.com) — Bicyclists, rollerbladers, skaters and all manner of pedestrians took over the streets of Pasadena Sunday for the latest installment of CicLAvia.

It's the first time since the event's inception that it has been held outside Los Angeles and the San Fernando Valley.
CicLAvia Pasadena was held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, May 31. The 3.5-mile route takes participants along Colorado Boulevard and down side streets to parks and Pasadena's cultural attractions.
The following streets were expected to remain closed from 8 a.m. through 5:30 p.m. Sunday:
This free event is open to the public, largely thanks to a grant from Metro Los Angeles.
Organizers want to remind the public that it's not a race. Traffic moves in both directions. There is no beginning nor end - participants can start anywhere they like along the route.
Businesses are typically open along the route and some even offer discounts for participants.
Event organizers say it's a great way to get to explore Pasadena and be active.
