Driver Leads Police On Erratic Chase In Montebello
BOYLE HEIGHTS (CBS) — A driver led police on an erratic chase on the eastbound 60 Freeway Thursday night.
"One of the wildest chases we've seen in a long time," SKY9's Derek Bell reported overhead.
Police have not yet disclosed what the suspect is wanted for. They were reporting that there were two people in the vehicle.
The suspect exited the 60 Freeway at about 10 p.m. and led police onto the surface streets of Montebello.
The driver almost sideswiped several cars in a residential area, making several hairpin turns as they eluded officers.
After reaching an industrial area of Boyle Heights the driver and a passenger fled on foot, climbing a fence into private property.
Police were scouring the neighborhood for the suspects.
