Driver Killed In Moreno Valley Crash After Plowing Into Bridge Wall
MORENO VALLEY (CBSLA.com) — Authorities said one person was killed after the driver of a sedan plowed into a concrete bridge wall in Moreno Valley early Saturday.
Traffic was blocked for more than four hours following the collision, officials said.
Sheriff's deputies were dispatched to the crash at 2:35 a.m. to Indian Avenue between Harley Knox and Grove View Road. A wrecked white Saturn was found when they arrived, Riverside County sheriff's Sgt. Bill Guimont said.
The driver was declared dead at the scene.
Traffic on Indian Avenue was diverted as deputies investigated, Guimont said.
The driver was the car's sole occupant.
The man's name was not released pending notification of his next of kin.
