Downey PD Releases Video, Photos Of Persons Of Interest In Taco Shop Murders
DOWNEY (CBSLA.com) — Police Thursday released video and photos of three people of interest wanted in connection with a double murder outside of a Southland taco shop.
Two people were stabbed and shot following a fight outside of Tacos Mexico, 7852 Florence Avenue in Downey, around 2 a.m. on March 17, Downey police said.
"A physical altercation occurred in the parking lot of the restaurant between the victims and suspects," Det. Lorraine Medina said. "The altercation between both parties continued out onto Florence Ave. where one of the suspects brandished a handgun and shot both victims."

The victims, Issac Perez, 31, and Raymond Contreras, 34, were later transported to a local hospital where they died, officials said.
"During the course of the investigation, Downey Police Detectives captured video footage of persons of interest and are seeking help from the public in identifying all of the subjects in the video and photographs," Lt. Mark Daniel said in a news release.
The potential suspect were last seen fleeing the scene in a Yellow H2 style Hummer, an older model Chevy or Ford Camouflage SUV with "Got Milk" mud flaps, and a black older model BMW with no license plates, according to police.
Neither victim was in a gang, according to their families.
