Dodgers To Open 2015 Season At Home Vs. San Diego
LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — The preliminary 2015 Major League Baseball schedule was announced Monday.
The Dodgers will start the 2015 season hosting the division-rival San Diego Padres on Monday, April 6, to kick off a three game series.
The matchup marks the third time in the last eight seasons the Dodgers will have started their season against San Diego.
The Dodgers have not hosted the Padres on Opening Day since April 2004.
Immediately following the home opening series, the Dodgers will be on the road April 10 to visit the Arizona Diamondbacks.
American League teams of the AL West division will visit the Dodgers in 2015, and include the Seattle Mariners from April 13-15, Texas Rangers from Jun 17-18, the Oakland Athletics from July 28-29, and the crosstown rival Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim from July 31-August 2.
On the road, the Dodgers will visit the Rangers from Jun 15-16, the A's from August 18-19, the Houston Astros from August 21-13, and a September Freeway Series will take place in Anaheim from September 7-9.
Holiday games for the Boys in Blue will include Memorial Day on Monday, May 25, against the Atlanta Braves, as well as a Father's Day matchup against the San Francisco Giants on Sunday, June 21.
The Dodgers will take on the New York Mets on Saturday, July 4, at Dodger Stadium.
The Dodgers announced that deposits for 2015 season tickets are currently being accepted by the team. Further details on season tickets can be found on the season ticket section of the team's website.
