Dodgers Sign World Champion Aaron Miles
LOS ANGELES (AP) -- The Dodgers have signed infielder Aaron Miles to a minor league deal with an invitation to spring training.
Miles batted .281 in 79 games with St. Louis last season after his contract was purchased from Double-A Springfield in June.
He was one of the final players cut by Cincinnati last spring and signed a minor league deal with the Cardinals on April 30.
Miles previously played with the Cardinals from 2006-08 and was a member of their World Series championship team in '06.
