Dodgers Sign First Round Selection Gavin Lux
LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — The Dodgers have agreed to terms with the first selection in the 2016 MLB Draft, Gavin Lux.
Lux is a high school shortstop out of Wisconsin who was ranked the 33rd best draft-eligible player by MLB.com
He will receive a $2.37 million bonus for signing, and will no longer make his commitment to the University of Arizona State.
The Dodgers selected Lux with the 20th overall pick.
The team has yet to sign it's other first-rounder Will Smith, a catcher out of Louisville.
