Dodgers Recall Chris Withrow From Triple-A Albuquerque
DENVER (CBSLA.com) — The Los Angeles Dodgers recalled right handed pitcher Chris Withrow from Triple-A Albuquerque on Tuesday.
The reliever, who is set to appear in his third stint with the Dodgers this season, had been optioned on Friday.
Withrow made one appearance for the Isotopes, tossing a scoreless inning of relief on Sunday in New Orleans.
Throughout his Triple-A season, Withrow went 4-0 with a 1.71 ERA (5 ER/26.1 IP), striking out a total of 33 and walking 13 through 25 games.
In his 17 appearances with the Dodgers this season, Withrow has earned a 2-0 record, sporting a 3.38 ERA (9 ER/24.0 IP).
