Twitter Reacts To Key Moments Of The Dodgers' 4-3 Win Over Washington Nationals
A wild night in Washington D.C. has ended and the Los Angeles Dodgers are on to face the Chicago Cubs in the NLCS.
As the game wore on and each play became more and more important, Dodgers fans and the entire Twitter universe were overcome with emotions on multiple occasions during a tense and trying nine innings of playoff baseball.

Jayson Werth Thrown Out At Home - Leading 1-0 in the bottom of the sixth inning, with Jayson Werth on first base, Ryan Zimmerman doubled to left. Nationals 3rd base coach Bob Henley decided to send Werth home where he was thrown out with ease.
Joc Pederson Home Run - Following the Werth tag out at home, Joc Pederson came to bat in the next half inning and tied the game up for the Dodgers with an opposite field home run off of Max Scherzer, chasing him from the game in the process.
Carlos "Chooch" Ruiz RBI Single - The Dodgers acquired Carlos "Chooch" Ruiz in a trade for long-time catcher A.J. Ellis in a move many fans criticized, but Ruiz won them over with a big time hit to give the Dodgers their first lead of the game.
Justin Turner Two-Run Triple - The Dodgers most clutch performer came through when they needed him to most. With two men on, Turner laced a triple to deep center over the head of Trea Turner and drove in two runs to give the Dodgers a 4-1 lead.
Chris Heisey Two-Run Home Run - With the Dodgers appearing to be in control, Dave Roberts called on Grant Dayton to get the Dodgers through the seventh inning. Instead, he gave up a 2-run homer to Chris Heisey and gave the Nationals new life in the bottom of the seventh inning.
Kenley Jansen Enters Game In 7th Inning - After Dayton allowed the home run and walked the next batter, Roberts made a stunning decision and called on his closer Kenley Jansen for a potential three-inning save.
Clayton Kershaw Enters To Close In 9th - After throwing a career high 50 pitches, Jansen was relieved by Game 4 starter Clayton Kershaw, who threw 110 pitches just two nights prior in Los Angeles. Kershaw came in and got out Daniel Murphy and Wilmer Difo with two men on base to send the Dodgers to the NLCS.
The Dodgers are set to begin their series with the Cubs in Chicago on Saturday night at 5:08 p.m. PT.
