Dodgers Call Up Top Prospect SS Corey Seager
LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — The Los Angeles Dodgers have reportedly called up their top prospect, Corey Seager, from Triple-A Oklahoma City.
Seager is the Dodgers top prospect, and is ranked the number two overall prospect in all of baseball, according to MLB.com
The Dodgers have recalled 21-year-old shortstop Corey Seager, the top prospect in MLB according to Keith Law.

This season in the minors, Seager hit .293 with 18 home runs combined in Double-A Tulsa and Triple-A Oklahoma City.
Seager was the 18th overall selection in the first round of the 2012 MLB Draft, and is the younger brother of Seattle Mariners 3B Kyle Seager.

The 21-year old played 19 games at 3rd base in the minors for the Dodgers, as the team has no real backup for starting 3B Justin Turner, who was also hit in the hand by a pitch on Wed. against the Giants.
The team also recalled pitcher Yimi Garcia from Triple-A OKC on Thursday as well. Seager will be wearing Juan Uribe's former number (5) with the Dodgers.
Seager could get some starts for #Dodgers quickly. Rollins, Turner each could use a day off. DH available with three games in ANA next week.
