Dodgers Acquire Utilityman Man Skip Shumaker From St. Louis Cardinals
LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) - The Los Angeles Dodgers have acquired infielder/outfielder Skip Schumaker from the St. Louis Cardinal in exchange for minor leaguer Jake Lemmerman, Thursday.
Shumaker, who has spent his whole career with the Cardinals, had a career .288 batting average with 23 home runs, and 211 RBIs in the 810 games he played with the Cards.
The Torrance native attended UC-Santa Barbara before being selected in the fifth round of the 2001 Firs-Year draft.
