Dodgers 3B Justin Turner To Be Placed On DL
LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — The Dodgers will place third basemen Justin Turner on the 15-day Disabled List, along with sending pitchers Zach Lee and Mike Bolsinger down to Triple-A Oklahoma City.
Turner was sent to the Emergency Room this past Tuesday after an infection in his leg was found. Turner has missed the previous three games with the injury.
Turner is hitting .323 this season with 13 home runs and 44 RBIs.
Lee and Bolsinger were sent down after a three-team trade occurred on Friday that sent starting pitchers Mat Latos and Alex Wood to the Dodgers.
