Doctors To Perform Another Operation On Beaten Giants Fan
LOS ANGELES (CBS) — The neurosurgery team treating Bryan Stow, a 41-year-old paramedic and married father of two who was severely beaten at Dodger Stadium last week, says he is in critical but guarded condition and must undergo a life-saving operation.
Doctors had already removed a portion of Stow's skull to relieve pressure and swelling on the brain, his brother-in-law David Collins told KCAL9 Friday.
Meanwhile, rewards for information leading to the two men who severely beat the San Francisco Giants fan in a Dodger Stadium parking are expected to reach a total of $100,000 Tuesday.
The Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors unanimously approved a $10,000 reward for information leading to the two men who attacked Stow. City Councilman Ed Reyes will ask his colleagues to approve a $50,000 reward at Tuesday's council meeting.
Outstanding rewards include $25,000 from the Dodgers, a $10,000 reward offered by the Giants and $5,000 from Stow's employer, American Medical Response. His co-workers have also set up a fund to help pay his medical expenses.
Anyone with information on the beating was asked to call the LAPD at (213)847-4261.
