Divine Design Kicks Off With Star-Studded Fundraiser To Benefit Project Angel Food
LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Divine Design -- a five-day extravaganza -- was established 21 years ago as a charity fundraiser to help Project Angel Food.
Project Angel Food delivers meals and nutritional counseling to anyone with a life threatening condition -- HIV/AIDS, cancer. Founded in 1989, Project Angel Food currently provides 13,000 meals each week to men, women and children in Los Angeles County. The group is helped by 3,700 volunteers. And more volunteers are always needed.
Every dollar raised in Divine Design festivities go to benefit Project Angel Food.
There's a star-studded opening night rock and roll party this evening. (Sorry, you need an invite to get in!)
