Disneyland Ticket Prices Go Up To $87
ANAHEIM (CBS) — Tickets to the Magic Kingdom have gone up.
Disneyland Resort officials say they have increased prices for single-day tickets and season passes for the second time in less than a year, according to the Orange County Register. The last time the park raised single-day ticket prices and annual pass fees was just June 12.
Starting May 20, visitors will begin paying $87 for a one-day, one-park pass, up $7.
The $7 price hike is actually in keeping with Disney ticket price increases, which have gone up between $2 and $7 annually over the past decade, the Register reported. Ticket prices will be $21 more than what visitors paid four years ago, and $46 more than 11 years ago, there was just one park to visit – Disneyland.
Park-hopper passes are now $125, an increase of $20.
The biggest jump in ticket prices comes from premium annual passes. Prices increased from $499 to $649, up 30 percent.
The heftier ticket prices come just in time for the June 15 opening of Cars Land and Buena Vista Street in the California Adventure park.
