Disneyland Cancels Ticket Discounts For SoCal Residents
ANAHEIM (CBSLA.com) — Disneyland has canceled deals for Southern California residents who are no longer able to get ticket discounts during the off-season.
For the last 10 years, the theme park offered locals a $99 two-day pass during the slower months — January through May. The discounted tickets allowed access to Disneyland one day and California Adventure the next.
Disneyland has seen record attendance after the June opening of Cars Land.
"We regularly evaluate our offerings in the local market and make decisions based on our business needs," Disneyland Resort spokesperson Suzi Brown said.
Locals say they already miss the discounts.
"It was a great deal," Carlsbad resident Stacey De-levi said. "Like everybody else they are trying to save and cut down, so I understand but it would be nice if they came back with it."
