Dine On A Dime: Crust
STUDIO CITY (CBS) — Australia's #1 pizza joint has just opened up shop in Studio City.
In tonight's "Dine on a Dime," Suzanne Marques introduces us to "Crust."
The owners tell us there are 100 in Australis, two in Singapore and three in New Zealand.
Crust(11928 Ventura Boulevard, 91604 818-980-0008) is now ready to tackle the United States.
Marques says Crust specializes in gourmet toppings (like angus beef, prawns and prosciutto with potato and blue cheese). They also make everything fresh, including the dough.
Prices are also reasonable -- 11 and 13 inch pies for $15 to $20.
To eat in, expect a line. The business is mostly designed for take-out and delivery. (Delivery begins next week.)
