Detectives Probe Hacienda Heights Shooting Death
HACIENDA HEIGHTS (CBSLA.com) — Detectives are probing the shooting death of a man in Hacienda Heights Sunday.
The shooting occurred in the 14400 block of Clark Avenue around 1:45 p.m., according to LA County Sheriff's Deputy Amber Smith.
A neighbor reported seeing the man down in a home's back yard, Sheriff's Sgt. Rick Thurlo told the San Gabriel Valley Tribune.
When officials arrived they said they found the victim bleeding and unconscious.
Late Sunday, detectives described the victim as a 34-year-old Latino. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
