Detectives Probe Death Of 3-Month-Old In Compton
COMPTON (CBSLA.com) — Authorities say detectives on Saturday morning were sent to Compton to investigate the circumstances surrounding the death of an infant.
The infant was pronounced dead at the scene in the 13000 block of South Harris Avenue, the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department said in a written statement.
Officials were called to the scene to investigate a report about a child not breathing.
The incident was reported just after 8 a.m. Saturday.
Officials said the child was 3-months-old.
