Delta Inks Promo Deal With AEG
LOS ANGELES (AP) — Delta Air Lines is seeking to boost its profile in Los Angeles through a new promotional agreement with the owners of the Staples Center and the Grammy Museum.
The five-year deal announced Thursday between Delta and AEG gives the airline access to advertising placards, program naming rights and other promotional opportunities at both downtown locations.
The arrangement also provides for the AEG-owned Los Angeles Kings hockey team to promote the airline.
Delta is currently the fourth-ranked airline out of Los Angeles International Airport.
Airline officials said the deal's price tag would not be released.
