THE DEFENSE
Q: Nice Range Rover. Have you had her long? She looks so new.
A: My dad got it for me at the end of 2010. We wanted a Range Rover because it's pretty and safe. Safety is the number one concern for my dad.
Q: Do the tourists around here ever bother you?
A: Sometimes, when the tour buses drive really slow. I don't really think they know where all the celebrities live. I think they're just making it up and the people buy it. As for the tourists on the street, they're fine. Sometimes they think you're a celebrity and then you feel good about yourself.
Q: Well, you kind of look like a celebrity.
A: Well, I am a celebrity. I'm an actress. That's why I'm living out here. Otherwise I would not because I hate L.A. L.A. sucks. I've been here almost two years just doing acting.
Q: Is that what you mainly use your car for?
A: Yep, auditions, work. I also take my dogs to a dog park. It's got a good trunk and I have a dog gate. I have a Rottweiler, Ted, and a black Lab, Zeus, and they love to go to the park and to the beach.
Q: How many hours a week would you say you spend in your car?
A: Not that much, maybe like 10. I try to stay out of traffic. My boyfriend's got a car and so usually I let him drive. I think the farthest we've gone in this car would be Vegas. It was about four and a half hours each way. It drives really well. It's really smooth. I test drove a lot of cars and I like how the steering wheel is kind of tight, so that I can feel the road.
Q: What's your biggest pet peeve about driving in L.A.?
A: Probably when people don't know where they're going and they're lost, but instead of pulling over, they just drive really slowly. Then it's usually on a one-way street. Then you can't go around them or do anything really. When you honk, they're like, "What? I'm looking for directions!" and then you're like, well pull over!
Q: What do you think your next car will realistically be?
A: I kind of base my cars on their outer appearance. I actually really like the G-wagen. I think it would be cool to have a white one with those rail guards, like you're on a safari. It's a Mercedes-Benz!
