Deadly Shooting Reported In Westlake District; Suspect At-Large
WESTLAKE (CBSLA.com) — A deadly shooting was reported Friday afternoon in the Westlake district.
Authorities said the suspect was at large.
Desmond Shaw, flying in Sky 9, said the shooting took place just after 2 p.m. at Layfayette Park Place just south of Beverly Boulevard.
The victim was described as a Latino in his early 20s.
Officials had no suspect information.
Shaw said a large perimeter was set up in the area.
