Deadly Shooting Investigation Underway In Whittier
WHITTIER (CBSLA.com) — Police Monday investigated the shooting death of an adult man in Whittier.
Shortly before 1 a.m., officers were sent to the 6300 block of Comstock Avenue for report of an accidental shooting, according to the Whittier Police Department.
Upon their arrival, authorities located an adult Hispanic man, believed to be in his 30s, suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to his head.
Paramedics pronounced the victim dead at the scene. His identity is being withheld pending family notification.
Police said there was another individual at the home who was uninjured.
At this time, no arrests have been made.
The investigation is ongoing.
