'CSI:NY' Star Gary Sinise Injured In Car Crash
LOS ANGELES (CBS) — "CSI:NY" star Gary Sinise was involved in a car accident last Friday, forcing him to cancel a show with his Lt. Dan Band and two other planned appearances.
According to a blog on the website for the Gary Sinise Foundation, the 57-year-old actor was injured in an accident while riding as a passenger.
"He was not seriously hurt but will, unfortunately, be unable to perform at Saturday night's concert fundraiser for Cpl. J.B. Kerns," the statement said. "Gary was also scheduled to act as Grand Marshall at Sunday's Speedway event, which he will also be unable to attend."
The cause of the accident has not been released.
