Body Found In MacArthur Park Lake
LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Search crews found the body of a man in MacArthur Park Lake on Tuesday.
Officials received a call around 6:40 a.m. after a male was reportedly seen walking into the lake along the 2000 block of West Wilshire Boulevard.
The unidentified male - who was apparently in his 30s - reportedly removed his clothing before entering the lake, according to police.
L.A. City Fire along with LAPD and the Parks and Recreation Department responded and began a search of the park.
The body was found shortly before 11:00 a.m., according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
