Crews Contain 2-Acre Vegetation Fire In Cherry Valley
CHERRY VALLEY (CBS) — Firefighters Saturday were able to contain a vegetation fire in Cherry Valley to two acres.
The fire broke out about 12:59 p.m. in the 9500 block of Avenida Miravilla, according to authorities.
As of 2 p.m., fire crews reported that firefighters were aggressively attacking the blaze which they had confined to an attic within a structure.
About 72 firefighters from 13 engine companies were dispatched to the incident, along with one water tender.
The cause of the fire was not immediately known.
An investigation is under way.
