Crews Contain Brush Fire Near 101 Freeway Near Camarillo
CAMARILLO (CBS) — Fire crews have contained a brush fire burning in the Conejo Grade between Camarillo and Newbury Park.
The fire, which broke out along the 101 Freeway just after 11:30 a.m. Friday, has burned roughly 25 acres.
Officials say it may have been caused by vehicle exhaust that ignited nearby brush.
Traffic was backed up on both sides of the freeway.
No injuries have been reported.
