Court Hearings Delayed After SoCal Bus Crash
SAN BERNARDINO (AP) — Hearings for 51 inmates were delayed after a bus carrying them to court rear-ended a car in Southern California.
San Bernardino County sheriff's spokeswoman Cindy Bachman says one person on the bus complained of pain after the accident Friday in San Bernardino.
All of the inmates were taken to Central Detention Center in San Bernardino for a medical evaluation.
The inmates, all from West Valley Detention Center, were headed for the Central Courthouse in San Bernardino for hearings.
The court appearances were postponed until Monday.
The San Bernardino Sun reports the additional cases on Monday could make some criminal courtrooms busier.
