Couple, Baby Killed In Rollover Crash Off 710 Freeway In Long Beach
LONG BEACH (CBS) — Two adults and a baby girl were killed Monday night when a car veered off the 710 Freeway and rolled onto railroad tracks.
The crash took place at 11 p.m. when a dark-colored vehicle heading southbound careened off the freeway just south of Long Beach Boulevard near Del Amo Boulevard.
It took firefighters 25 minutes to reach the victims because their car had been so badly damaged.
Abel Israel Gutierrez, 20, and his daughter, 2-month-old Sophia Gutierrez, were pronounced dead at the scene, but the woman was taken to a hospital, where she later passed away. Her identity has not been released.
No additional details were released.
