Coroner: South El Monte Man Died Waiting For Liver Transplant
SOUTH EL MONTE (CBSLA.com) — A man who was found dead in South El Monte Monday was allegedly waiting for a liver transplant before he died, according to the victim's family.
The 50-year-old man was found around 3:40 p.m. at a home on the 1300 block of Penn Mar Avenue.
Coroner Chief Ed Winter said the victim likely died of natural causes.
