Coroner Identifies Woman Fatally Struck By Limo On PCH In Malibu
MALIBU (CBSLA.com) — The Coroner Sunday announced the name of the woman fatally struck by a limousine on the Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu.
Sarah Salam, a 21-year-old resident of Germany, was struck in the 20300 block of PCH Saturday about 8:45 p.m. near the Moonshadows Restaurant, according to Lt. Todd Weber of the Sheriff's Malibu/Lost Hills Station.
"The driver stopped, was cooperative and there was no DUI," Sgt. Shawn Rude of the Malibu/Lost Hills Station said. "It may be an unfortunate accident."
The limo driver was on his way to pick up a client, Ruda said.
During the investigation into the accident, PCH was closed from 8:45 p.m. Saturday until 2:15 Sunday morning.
The driver was not cited.
