Coroner Identifies Couple Involved In Stanton Murder-Suicide
STANTON (CBSLA.com) — The Orange County Coroner's Office has identified a couple involved in a murder-suicide in Stanton.
The Coroner said John Ha, 49, apparently shot and killed his estranged wife before turning the gun on himself.
Ha killed Linda Vu, 29, behind a Jack In The Box eatery in Stanton.
Officials said Ha left a message with a friend indicating that he was going to harm his wife.
Deputies conducted a welfare check on Vu and found her about 3:30 p.m. Saturday at the drive-through at the corner of Beach Boulevard, according to Orange County Sheriff's Lt. Jeff Hallock.
